Razer has offered PC Remote Play app to stream games on your mobile

The app was available at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2025 in beta. According to a Razer product developer on Reddit;

Razer tailors its remote play platform around user-friendliness and ease of use compared to its competitors. Most other platforms, such as Moonlight or Steam Remote Play, require user tinkering to dial in the optimum settings. However, Razer PC Remote Play is allegedly a lot more straightforward. As previously mentioned, it automatically quits games when you’re done playing them and automatically adjusts resolution and refresh rate.

Razer PC Remote Play is built on open-source PC streaming software called Moonlight that uses Nvidia’s streaming protocol. There are various types of game streaming apps on the market, but with lot of issues with streaming the entire rig to the phone.

In comparison, Razer PC Remote Play offers services while fixing all issues, such as letterboxing, pillarboxing, etc.  

The platform supports iOS and Android devices, all mobile gaming controllers, and the Razer Kishi controller while using AVI encoding. In addition, it is compatible with different libraries, including Steam, Epic Games, Xbox PC Game Pass, and so on, to stream games.

The streaming of games is possible for devices running on iOS 18 or later and Android 14 or higher from Windows 10 and Windows 11.

It will be available for free to use, you need only to download the Razer PC Play and Razer Nexus apps on the mobile and the Razer Cortex app on your PC.  The platform also offers compatibility with a keyboard, mouse, and trackpad.
