For a few months, OnePlus has been anticipating the offering of an updated smart version of the OnePlus 13. Now, OnePlus has confirmed the entire anticipation by announcing the release of the OnePlus 13T and 13 Mini within the month. The launching ceremony will be held in China.

OnePlus China President Li Jie stated on April 5 that “the company’s early research revealed a common issue among users of small-screen smartphones — limited battery life and overheating during gaming while charging. To directly address this, the OnePlus 13T will debut with an industry-first “Glacier Battery” exceeding 6000mAh, bringing exceptional battery life to a compact device for the first time.”

Multiple leaks have revealed images of this awesome device, but OnePlus hasn’t officially shared any details. Only a few leaks on different occasions show that the compact flagship will prove pocket-friendly yet powerful, similar to the iPhone 16e.

The innovative flagship has a smaller screen as compared to its predecessors, so the display screen is 6.3-inch, 1.5 OLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also anticipated that through the surfacing images online, the device will be available with a premium glass back, metal frame, and flat edges. It will be lighter in weight, just 185g, as compared to the OnePlus 13 at 210g.

Battery performance is one most important elements offered by the OnePlus 13T technology. So, the users will charge their phones directly without charging the battery. It is the best option for gamers to avoid heating generation and help to maintain the battery health over time.

Rumors are circulating about the flagship’s chipset performance, as it will be the first compact flagship empowered with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. On the AntuTu benchmark listing, the flagship was spotted to get a massive score of 3,006,913 points that were broken down as;

  • CPU: 678,498
  • GPU: 1,268,838
  • Memory: 569,999
  • UX: 489,578

The OnePlus 13T will offer only two rear cameras: a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The selfie camera details aren’t discussed yet.
